My husband and I have lived all over the US, with crab legs being one of our favorite foods. Kretzers has the BEST crab legs we’ve ever had by far. Amazing food, phenomenal service, fun atmosphere, and the owners and family are some of the kindest people you can come across. Kretzers is our go to for any occasion! Highly recommend!

1st time at Kretzer's. Stumbled across a hidden gem, right here in Hoyleton Illinois, a little short drive from St Louis. Got the AUCE king crab, and let me tell you it is truly a hidden gem. Crab was sweet, succulent and they do not let you run out. I had the salad bar and curly fries to blend in with my crab and everything was delicious. Salad bar is loaded and you make your own. 5 star salad bar, 5 star crab, fries and service. My server took excellent care of me OMG this place is amazing i love it. About the only AUCE crab place still left near the St Louis area. Totally worth the drive, and I will definitely return. Don't miss this hidden gem, and ignore the bad reviews. If you love crab try this place. My new favorite place to dined and can't wait to try other items on the menu that I enjoyed looking at. Awesome place!

Food -Great but we were sad (after our 2.5 hour drive to get there) that they no longer offered Lobster or the King crab legs. . . Or the sampler platter I usually get, only snow crab legs and shrimp. That being said, the smoked crab legs were wonderful, some of the best I've ever had. They did not have the sampler that I usually get this time around.Salad bar is always great too.Service is always quick and good!Atmosphere in the entrance and bar area for a St. Louis Cardinal fan is great. The big dining room is open and serves it's purpose.

We finally got a chance to visit for our 31st wedding anniversary. We sat in the bar because it has a quaint feel. Our food way very good. If you like mushrooms, these are AHMAZING... We got a seafood sampler, it was yummy! My crab legs were hard to eat they kept "sticking" but once I did get to the meat, they were also great. They have a new space they are working on to add seating, and for bands, eventually they will have garage doors. Our waiter was attentive and gave us plentyof recommendations. We will be back!!

The best all you can eat crab legs on the planet! Hospitality is like no other! This is the place to be. Food steaming hot and servers are on point! It is a line but well worth the wait and drive. The smoked crab legs are by far the best I've ever had. I couldn't believe how great this place was. I will be back!

The all you can eat Shrimp was delicious, carb legs I believe just about everyone knows about these.. Our waitress was awesome as well. Worth the hour drive and will do it again soon..

Diverse crowd very professional workers , and good food. The pricing was very reasonable, but I bet you won’t make it past the first plate of crab legs with all you can eat.

I'm a 1st time here. They have built a stage and now have entertainment on Saturday night. Was told to follow on face book for possible line ups of entertainment. Love the space on the patio. Was with a group of 20. Not crowded. We had a good time enjoying the company of our group. Would I go back (yes). They had a seafood boil (all u can eat). They also sale, burgers, catfish nuggets, ribs, steak, fries, onion rings, soups, salad bar and much more. Our waiter was pretty patience with such a large group.
